Severna Park Drug Raid Turns Up Crack Cocaine: Police

A Severna Park man faces numerous drug-trafficking charges after a search of his house turned up cocaine, police say.

SEVERNA PARK, MD — A drug raid early Thursday at a Severna Park house netted crack cocaine and other drugs, plus $2,000 cash, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Narcotics officers executed a search and warrant at 43 Robinson Landing Road in Severna Park shortly before 6 a.m.

During the search warrant, detectives found crack cocaine, $2,000 cash, multiple digital scales with cocaine residue, and other paraphernalia indicative of narcotics distribution. Norman Wesley Boston Jr., 53, of Robinson Landing Road in Severna Park, was arrested and taken to Eastern District headquarters for booking.

  • 1 pill bottle containing a trace amount of white rock-like substance, suspected crack cocaine
  • 1.5 orange round pills marked "b 777", suspected amphetamine and dextroamphetamine
  • 3 functional digital scales with suspected cocaine residue
  • Various clear, green, and blue ziploc baggies
  • 3 handwritten drug-trafficking ledgers
  • 1 red Ziploc bag containing a trace amount of off-white rock-like substance, suspected crack cocaine
  • $2,000 cash in denominations of $100s, $50s, $20s

Boston was charged with:

  • Possession with intent to distribute - cocaine
  • Possession CDS, not marijuana - crack cocaine
  • Possession CDS, not marijuana - amphetamine and dextroamphetamine
  • Possession paraphernalia, Ziploc bags
  • Possession paraphernalia, digital scales
