Severna Park Family Displaced When Fire Destroys House
A family of four lost their house in a fire early Sunday in Severna Park.

SEVERNA PARK, MD — A family of four — two adults and two children — lost their house in a fire early Sunday in Severna Park, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. The fire was reported at 6:15 a.m. in the 300 block of Hollyberry Road.
Fire crews arrived to find flames coming through the roof and in the rear of the home. The fire was brought under control in under 30 minutes as firefighters worked in icy conditions, the department said.
The fire is under investigation by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit. The family is being assisted by the Red Cross.
