The beach at Round Bay in Severna Park was alive with activity Friday and Saturday morning as community members young and old helped transform the rocky beach into a more natural shoreline habitat.
4. Severna Park Grad Named Vanderbilt Lacrosse Assistant
A Severna Park graduate has been named Vanderbilt’s newest women’s lacrosse coach. Julie Gardner, a 2012 graduate of the University of Virginia, will now take over the reigns as an assistant at Vanderbilt, according to a release from the school.

Severna Park residents are anxiously awaiting the opening of Park Plaza’s newest restaurant—Mu Pueblo II. Owner Maria Meza said they do not have an exact opening date yet, but said they are planning to be in business by the first week of August.
