Citron Apartments Filling Up in Silver Spring

The Silver Spring Transit Center may be going through rocky times, but another Foulger-Pratt project in downtown Silver Spring is off to a promising start.

Citron Apartments, which opened in mid-May, has reached its 60 percent leasing mark, the Rockville-based company announced last week.

Citron is located just behind the Silver Spring Civic Building, bounded by Veterans Place, Pershing Drive, Ellsworth Drive and Cedar Street.

The 222-unit complex also includes a clubroom, game room, fitness center, and cyber café with Wi-Fi, as well as a resort-style pool, sundeck, and outdoor fire-pit.
