Eggspectation Opening Delayed At Montgomery County Location

COLUMBIA, MD — Eggspectation, an international eatery with a brunch concept, has pushed back the opening of its location at Burtonsville Crossing shopping center, 15701 Columbia Pike, to spring.

The restaurant closed its downtown Silver Spring site in September of 2020 after 15 years in business, reported The MoCo Show. An early 2025 is the likely opening timeframe for the Burtonsville location, along with venues in Annapolis and Columbia.

Eggspectation will offer a menu full of breakfast and brunch classics like omelets and pancakes to crepes, along with comfort foods like gourmet burgers, pastas, seafood, salads, tacos, steaks and more. Vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options will be available.

There will be outdoor patio seating.

Eggspectation has locations at 2402 Brandermill Blvd. in Gambills; 10209 Grand Central Ave., Suite 126, in Owings Mills; and 2235 York Road in Timonium.
