Cruelty To Children Charge Filed Against Takoma Park Woman: Police

WASHINGTON, DC — Regina Cox, 56, of Takoma Park, Maryland, faces a second-degree cruelty to children charge in connection with an incident that took place last September in the District of Columbia, according to police.

Around 2:07 p.m. on Sept, 8, 2022, Cox fought with a minor in the 100 block of T Street, Northeast. The victim suffered minor injuries, police say.

Acting on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Youth and Family Service Division arrested and charged Cox on Tuesday.
