Get Rid Of Old, Unused Drugs At Takoma Park Police Department

You can safely get rid of expired and unwanted prescription drugs at the Takoma Park police station on Saturday, Oct. 24.

TAKOMA PARK — The Takoma Park Police Department is offering a safe and anonymous way for residents to get rid of leftover, unwanted, and expired prescription drugs.

Authorities are teaming up with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the initiative, called National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, to provide easy and responsible means of disposal, keep our drinking water clean, and educate people about prescription drug abuse and theft, according to officials.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, you can dispose your pills for disposal at the Takoma Park police station, located at 7500 Maple Ave. No liquids or syringes will be accepted.
