Local Residents Help Set Cloth Diaper World Record

The campaign to promote cloth diapers is international.

The Gazette reported this week that parents from around D.C. metro region got together in Takoma Park to promote cloth diapers April 23.

The parents of 28 babies participated in the Great Cloth Diaper Change, a national campaign to set a Guinness World Record for most cloth diapers changed simultaneously, the Gazette reported.

Unofficial results will be reported as they come in according to the Great Cloth Diaper Change website. Hosts are compiling evidence to submit to Guinness World Records and those results will also be posted on the website as soon as they are in.

Hosts from 181 sites have reported 4,347 participants across the country so far, according to the website.
