Man Robbed on Ethan Allen

The man received non life-threatening injuries.

 A man was robbed in the 600 block of Ethan Allen Ave. around 1:39 a.m. Monday morning, Takoma Park Police said.

The victim was walking on Ethan Allen Avenue toward Elm Avenue when an unknown black male suspect attacked him from behind, striking him repeatedly about his body.  After forcing the victim on the ground, the suspect took property and fled on foot up Ethan Allen Avenue and made a right turn on to Elm Avenue, police said.  

The suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-7 to 6-foot with a dark complexion and short hair. He is of medium build and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.  Investigation
continues under case #11029724.  Anyone with information about this
