that was scheduled last week on Maple Ave in Old Town Takoma Park will take place Wednesday from 8 a.m. and last all day, <a href="http://www.takomaparkmd.gov/washingtongas/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the city of Takoma Park</a>. After the new gas main is inserted into the old gas main, the holes over the connections of the house service lines to the gas main will be filled in and the area should be returned to original condition. More work is ahead next week as well. The remaining house service line repairs will be completed in preparation for the gas main insertion in that area, which is expected to take place late next week, the city said. Once the gas line work has been completed in the 7100 block of Maple Avenue, Washington Gas will arrange for the street restoration to take place on that block.
