Older Man Approaches Juvenile In Questionable Manner: Police

TAKOMA PARK, MD — The Takoma Park Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in an ongoing investigation where a suspect approached a juvenile in a questionable manner in Takoma Park Oct. 18.

Police say the older male suspect approached the minor at about 7:45 a.m. on Laurel Avenue. The man allegedly crossed the street toward the Dolci Gelati Café, approached the girl and asked her personal questions, police said. The girl immediately left the area.

Police describe the suspect as a black or Hispanic male, approximately 5’8, speaks with an accent and was last seen wearing an old black “North Face” hoodie with the hood up.
