Police Investigate 'Punish A Muslim Day' Flyers On Social Media

Takoma Park Police said a resident received an anti-Muslim flyer on social media that states April 3 is "Punish a Muslim Day."

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park Police said a resident received an anti-Muslim flyer on social media that states April 3 is "Punish a Muslim Day."

"These flyers have been targeting Muslim families in this country and abroad," a police statement says. "We’re encouraging the community to be vigilant and to have open lines of communication with the police department."

Residents who have received a flyer in the mail or on social media are asked to contact the police department.
