The budget season is over this year in Takoma Park as the city council voted on second reading to pass the FY2012 budget. The total budget allocated was $25,051,729. The budget is broken down into four separate funds which are the general fund, stormwater management fund, speed camera fund and special revenue fund. The general fund accounts for $21,155,874. The fiscal year will commence July 1. Check back for more stories on the new budget.
