Two 17-year-olds, both of Silver Spring, were arrested Saturday for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute, Takoma Park Police said. At around 1:37 a.m. on Nov. 26, Takoma Park Police were on patrol in the area of Sligo Creek Parkway and Flower Avenue.  A vehicle was being driven recklessly, police said and a traffic stop was initiated. The officer approached the vehicle and saw in plain view open alcoholic beverages and several bags of marijuana, police said. The juveniles were placed under arrest and transported to the Takoma Park Police Department.
