
A woman was robbed in the 7200 block of Cedar Avenue near the Takoma Metro Station Thursday night around 10:46 p.m., Takoma Park Police said.
The victim was walking away from the Metro station on Cedar Avenue when she saw a black sedan stop near her. A man exited the vehicle, produced a small black handgun and demanded property from her. The victim gave the man what she had and the suspect fled in the vehicle on Cedar Avenue.
The victim was unharmed.

The suspects are as follows:
- Suspect 1: Black male, approximately 23 years old with a low/faded haircut, last seen wearing a black baseball cap, white t-shirt, blue skinny jeans and dark-colored tennis shoes.
- Suspect 2: Black male (remained in the vehicle) – no further description.
- Suspect Vehicle: Older black sedan, possibly a Ford Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis, which sat low to the ground.
Surrounding jurisdictions were notified, police said.
