AAA Mid-Atlantic Opens New Car Care Insurance Travel Center on York Road

Coinciding with AAA Mid-Atlantic’s free Summer Car Care event, the auto club will open the AAA Timonium Car Care Insurance Travel Center on Saturday, July 29.

Joining the auto club’s ten other Maryland locations (Annapolis, Brandywine, Columbia, Crofton, Frederick, Gaithersburg, Glen Burnie, Rockville, Towson, and White Marsh), the new AAA Car Care Insurance and Travel Center is located at:

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The 8,200 square foot facility of new construction features eight automotive bays and is located across from the Fairgrounds and next to Famous Dave’s BBQ. The Car Care Center replaces the AAA Timonium retail store located a half mile south on York Road in the Timonium Plaza shopping center. AAA’s current Timonium location will close for business on Friday, July 28.

While the new store provides all of the regular services that auto club members have come to expect from AAA’s retail offices, the difference is that Car Care Insurance Travel Centers also offer car care services, which will be available to non-members as well, although AAA members will enjoy a lower price with a discount on repair labor.

The new store showcases the elements of the latest AAA Car Care Insurance Travel Center store prototypes, which includes in-store digital signage, a map and TourBook® lounge, and expanded AAA Café offering beverages and table seating.
