On January 26, Baltimore County detectives arrested 18-year-old Sahiou Kargbo. The arrest followed an armed robbery that occurred in the 3000 block of E. Joppa Rd., 21234, on January 6, at approximately 5:40 a.m. During the robbery the suspect is accused of entering the location armed with a handgun and demanding money. Two employees were inside the business at the time of the robbery. After the workers complied with the gunman’s demands, the suspect left the location.

Based on information and evidence detectives gathered during their investigation, they identified Sahiou Kargbo as a suspect in the case. During Kargbo’s arrest, investigators located two firearms; a Glock 43x 9mm semi-automatic loaded handgun with a 50 round drum magazine and a Jennings Bryco 59 9mm semi-automatic handgun which was unloaded. Kargbo has been charged with armed robbery, robbery, first-degree assault, theft, as well as firearm charges in Baltimore County. Tonight, Kargbo remains held in Baltimore City in reference to a City homicide.
