Lutherville Businesses Finalists in Healthiest Employers Awards
The competition is presented by the partnership of Baltimore Business Journal and the group Healthiest Employers.

Three Lutherville based businesses are among the "healthiest" employers in the region, according to a annual Baltimore Business Journal competition.
Fitness Services, CFG Community Bank and Silberstein Insurance Group dominate three out of the five finalists in the between 2 and 99 employees category.

Winners will be announced Thursday, June 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Martin's Valley Mansion in Hunt Valley.
"The awards will honor companies with the best policies and initiatives promoting the health and well-being of their employees," according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

Naturally, a health club found its way to the finals, but an insurance company from Lutherville does raise a few eyebrows.
“At , our goal is to develop solutions that address our clients’ healthcare issues and employee benefit concerns before they become problems," Richard Silberstein, insurance group president, said in a relase. "We take that same proactive stance with our employees, who are the reason we have enjoyed continued success in a highly competitive marketplace. As a result, we place a high premium on initiating policies that will encourage employee wellness and promote a healthy work environment."
