Lutherville Personal Physicians Receives Award from County

The Baltimore County Commission on Aging has awarded Lutherville Personal Physicians the Best Partner Award for 2011, according to a release.

The award was given to the office for its "efforts in providing health screenings to seniors in Baltimore County," the release states.

Lutherville Personal Physicians celebrated its one year anniversary at its 1734 York Road location in April. Today, the health center is averaging upward of 250 primary care visits per day, according to spokesman Dan Collins.

"LPP’s participation in the Senior Health Expo and screenings through the senior health centers played a role," Collins wrote in an email regarding the award. "The screenings were able to identify several disease conditions that required rapid treatment and was successful in generating new patients for LPP practices."
