Lutherville Volunteers Respond to Highway Truck Fire
Photos show firefighters from Station 30 at the scene where they remained for about an hour.
Firefighters responded to a tractor trailer fire on the inner loop of Interstate 695 between Greenspring Avenue and Stevenson Road early Tuesday morning.
The assisted stations from Pikesville and Brooklandville in putting out the fire.
"[The Lutherville] crew assisted units on scene by 'opening up' the trailer so that fire attack crews could gain access to the seat of the fire while Engine 307's (Lutherville's) driver supplied water to the fire attack pumper," according to the LVFC website.

Firefighters remained at the scene for about an hour.
Station 30 has responded to more than 1,453 calls this year. Numbers have not been calculated for October or November.
