Middle River Man Dies After Driving Off I-83

A Middle River man died early Saturday morning after driving his truck off of Interstate 83 near the Baltimore city/county line, according to Maryland State Police.

Wayne Scott Calloway, reportedly in his 40s, was found lying next to his gray Dodge pickup truck at about 6 a.m. He was declared dead at the scene by Maryland State Police. 

It is unknown what caused Calloway's truck to suddenly veer off the road. The single-car accident remains under investigation. 

The interstate remained open as a police tow truck pulled Calloway's battered pickup out of an embankment. (See photos)
