Report: Phony Utility Employee, Accomplice, Steal Jewelry, Cash

Burglar allegedly takes the senior resident in the basement while another steals items from her Lutherville home, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

A Lutherville resident who allowed a male posing as a BGE employee into her home was lured into the basement while his accomplice stole cash, a Rolex watch and jewelry upstairs.

Between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, while she was in the basement of her home in the 1200 block of Longford Road, another burglar came in through a patio door, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

That second burglar went upstairs to steal the items, then left before the resident discovered he had allegedly stolen the property.
