2 Charged In Fatal Shooting Near Timonium Bowlero: Police

A deadly shooting outside a bowling alley on York Road has resulted in murder charges against two men.

TOWSON, MD — Two men have been charged in connection with a deadly shooting outside the Bowlero in Timonium, police reported Tuesday.

Craig B. Whitaker Jr., 32, of northwest Baltimore, and David A. Davis, 32, of Laurel, were arrested, police said.

Whitaker and Davis have been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree assault.

Police said the charges stem from a deadly shooting that occurred outside the Bowlero bowling alley in the 2100 block of York Road after 11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15.

Anthony Cooper, 48, was shot in the upper body and pronounced deceased at the scene, according to officials.

Police said Cooper was involved in a dispute before the shooting, according to witnesses.

Both Whitaker and Davis were arrested Oct. 26 and have been held without bail, court records show.
