2 Injured In Shooting Outside Baltimore County Walmart

The victims were injured when shots were fired during an altercation outside a Walmart store, Baltimore County police said.

MIDDLE RIVER, MD — Two people were injured Wednesday when a fight among a group of juveniles ended in gunfire, authorities said.

According to Baltimore County police, officers responded to Walmart, located in the 100 block of Carroll Island Road, around 5:30 p.m. for a report of gunfire.

When officers arrived, they learned shots had been fired near the entrance of the store during an altercation between the juveniles.

Two people suffered minor injuries, police said.

The incident remains under investigation. Police said the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
