3 Arrested Following Armed Robberies in Towson

Three people were arrested following a pair of armed robberies in the Towson area late last week.

Thadduse Hartridge, 38, of the 3400 block of Bonita Street in Suitland, faces two counts of armed robbery, two counts of using a handgun to commit a crime, one count of resisting arrest, one count of causing the harm or death of a law enforcement animal and one count of firearm possession with a felony conviction, according to online court records.

Hartridge is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Two juvenile females were also arrested, the police report shows.

Around 4:16 a.m. July 5 a man was robbed at gunpoint near the intersection of York Road and Regester Avenue, according to a police report. The victim gave officers a description that matched a description given by a victim in another nearby robbery, according to a police report.

Officers found the suspects in a black Nissan and the suspects fled in the car then bailed out, the report states. Officers used a police dog and found one of the juvenile females nearby, then located Hartridge hiding in a yard on Susquehana Avenue, the report states.

The dog bit Hartridge’s right leg, but Hartridge managed to escape over several fences, the report states. The police dog later found him hiding behind an air conditioning unit in the 100 block of Susquehana Avenue.

Police arrested Hartridge after he resisted both officers and the police dog, the report states.
