3 Teens Charged After Towson Town Center Stabbing: Police

Three minors were charged after the Towson Town Center stabbing, police announced Tuesday. The suspects are 17 and 15 years old.

TOWSON, MD — Police announced Tuesday that they charged three teenagers after last week's Towson Town Center stabbing.

Officers said they charged these suspects in the Wednesday attack:

  • A 17-year-old boy was charged as an adult and held without bond
  • A 17-year-old boy was charged as a minor and released to his parents
  • A 15-year-old girl was charged as a minor and released to her parents

Authorities do not release the names of minors charged as juveniles. They can sometimes release the names of minors charged as adults.

Police declined to identify the minor charged as an adult when Patch asked.

Authorities said they are still searching for more suspects.

Witnesses told investigators that "a group of about 10 to 12 boys and girls assaulted and stabbed an adult victim," WBAL reported.

Police on Thursday said they had detained "persons of interest" in the stabbing. Now, officers have formal charges against some suspects.

Authorities said they were called for a fight in progress in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim told officers that a group of male and female minors tried to take his property while inside the mall. He reported that the suspects then followed him to the garage where they assaulted him.

The Baltimore County Police Department asked witnesses and anybody with a video of the stabbing to call 410-307-2020. Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.
