3 Towson Retailers Sell Lottery Tickets Over $10,000

TOWSON, MD — Three Towson area retailers sold winning lottery tickets worth at least $10,000 this week.

A 65-year-old Parkville woman this week claimed a $100,000 prize from an instant ticket that she purchased from a store off Loch Raven Boulevard. Called Gold, the scratch-off game cost $10 to play.

For selling a top-prize winning scratch-off, Bottle & Cork Liquors at 6867 Loch Raven Boulevard will get a $1,000 bonus.

Two other big winners purchased tickets at Royal Farms stores in the Towson area.

One cashed in on a $10,000 prize from winning the Money Explosion scratch-off game at the Royal Farms at 601 Southwick Drive in Towson.

Another won from the $10,000 Lucky scratch-off game at the Royal Farms at 6067 Falls Road.

Officials said the three winning Towson tickets were among 34 Maryland Lottery tickets worth at least $10,000 that were sold or redeemed in the week that ended Sunday, April 10.

A woman in Harford County won $2 million playing the $2,000,000 Gold Rush game at 7-Eleven in Bel Air, officials said, making her the biggest winner in the Maryland Lottery for the week. Coming in second was a player in Owings Mills who raked in $1 million from a scratch-off ticket bought at a Royal Farms.
