37 Trees To Be Planted at Cromwell Bridge Park And Ride
The Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland is behind the initiative.

This year, the Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland has chosen the Cromwell Bridge Park and Ride as the location of their annual initiative to plant trees in public spaces.
Thirty-seven trees, consisting of Japanese cherries and canopy trees, will be planted in the area, according to an email from Elyssa Baxter, a past local director of the organization. The effort is funded about $3,000 to $5,000 every year through an endowment from Alice Rush McKeon, a past president of the Green Spring Valley Garden Club.
"Investing in our communities is only one small part of the Federated Garden Clubs many activities in the area," Baxter wrote.
