Students Hurt In Woodlawn Crash Involving School Bus: Firefighters
Several students were hospitalized after a crash involving a school bus, Baltimore County firefighters said.

WOODLAWN, MD — Seven students were hospitalized with minor injuries after a Monday morning crash involving a school bus in Woodlawn, officials said.
The bus was transporting Windsor Mill Middle School students.
The Baltimore County Fire Department first announced news of the crash at Rolling Road and Dogwood Road around 9:30 a.m. Firefighters said multiple vehicles were involved.

By 10 a.m., crews were working with Baltimore County Public Schools to transport students who were not hurt to school.
Thirty-one students refused treatment and were picked up by their parents at the scene, Baltimore County Fire Department spokesperson Bureau Chief Travis Francis told The Baltimore Sun.

Francis told The Sun that eight students who were not hurt were taken to school on another bus, and the bus driver refused treatment.
"We followed our protocol for bus accidents and all students were evaluated by EMS at the scene," Windsor Mill Middle Principal Rodrick Hobbs said in a community letter obtained by Patch. "I want you to be assured that the safety of our students is our top priority."
Hobbs said school administrators responded to the scene. The Department of Transportation is investigating the crash, Hobbs said.
