Age is Just a Number for One Ravens Fan
Emma Uchuck wasn't standing, clapping or cheering with the dozens of fans at Towson Town Center on Friday, but that didn't stop her from being one of the best fans in the crowd.

The number 92 means a lot to Ravens fans. It's on the jersey of Haloti Ngata, the unstoppable, passionate Pro Bowl tackle.
"Unstoppable" and "passionate" are also words you could use to describe Emma Uchuck. The 92-year-old from Orchard Hills was easily decades older than dozens of the other fans out to at on Friday.
"She's wheelchair-bound now, but she sits in her recliner every Sunday," said daughter Pat Di Giovanni. The Ravens games, she said, give Uchuck the ability to celebrate with everyone whether she can get up and cheer or not.

"We can't take her to the stadium under normal circumstances," said Di Giovanni, so the rally in Towson provided a chance for her to feel closer to the team she loves. And the crew at the Towson event loved her right back, giving her a free Ravens playoff T-shirt.
Uchuck is a lifelong Lutherville and Towson-area resident, and she was a die-hard Colts fans back in the day, said Di Giovanni, who once babysat for a Colts player's children in Orchard Hills when she was younger.

As for Uchuck's favorite player, instead of 92, Di Giovanni said her mother takes more to 52: Ray Lewis. And come Sunday—and hopefully a few more Sundays this season—she'll be in her recliner, cheering on her Ravens.
