Ambulance, Tractor-Trailer Crash Injures 7 In Baltimore County: Reports
An ambulance and a tractor-trailer crashed in Baltimore County. The wreck injured seven people, reports said.

REISTERSTOWN, MD — Several people were injured when an ambulance and a tractor-trailer collided in northern Baltimore County this weekend, reports said.
The Baltimore County Police Department announced the crash Saturday around 9:30 p.m., saying it happened at the intersection of Butler Road and Westminster Pike. That's located in Reisterstown near the northern terminus of Interstate 795.
The Baltimore Sun reported that seven people were hurt in the wreck. Maryland State Police Aviation Command helicopters airlifted two of the victims to nearby hospitals, WBAL-TV said.

The severity of the victims' injuries has not been released.
WBAL said the ambulance was from Carroll County and was responding to a call in Baltimore County with its lights and sirens activated.

Tractor-trailers take longer to stop than passenger vehicles because they are far heavier.
It's unclear who is at fault.
The Sun said the truck was transporting fuel, but none leaked after the crash.
