
Stoneleigh Elementary, which had been scheduled to open Wednesday, was forced to delay the first day of school again due to an electrical outage, according to a telephone message to parents from principal Christine Warner.
A blown transformer placed Stoneleigh on the list of 21 schools that remain closed and without power following Hurricane Irene. Schools were supposed to start on Monday throughout Baltimore County.
