BGE Pruning, Removing Trees in Northeast Towson

The initiative is part of a system wide effort to improve the reliability of electrical service in the area.

Baltimore Gas & Electric will be pruning and removing trees throughout northeast Towson in 2013 as part of a system wide effort to improve electrical service.

The area impacted is served by the East Towson substation, according to an email from Councilman David Marks. Homes and businesses affected include those in East Towson and Campus Hills.

Property owners who require vegetation management will be notified approximately two to four weeks in advance, Marks wrote. If tree removal is required, BGE would need a signed consent form from the propoerty owners.
