Big Sue's Kitchen Opening Delayed

The country style restaurant is preparing to open at the location of the former Ridgely & Ferrens.

"Setbacks" have held up the opening of Big Sue's Kitchen, which is housed at the location of the former Ridgely & Ferrens.

The owners of the casual county style restaurant are now preparing for a mid-March opening. The eatery was initially slated to open in the first week of December 2012.

"We have a couple more big things to take care of," said Frederick Dixon, a Freeland resident who co-owns the establishment with his wife, the eponymous Sue Dixon.
