Big Sue's Kitchen Opening Tuesday
The country style eatery is opening up in the Towson space vacated by Ridgely & Ferrens.

After a series of setbacks, Big Sue's Kitchen is finally opening up in Towson.
According to the restaurant's Facebook page, doors will open at 6 a.m, Tuesday at 11 Allegheny Ave. A ribbon cutting is slated for 11:30 a.m.
Fred Dixon, who owns the restaurant alonside his wife, the eponymous Sue Dixon, initially intended to open the business in the first week of December 2012. He said in February that there were "a couple more big things to take care of."

Big Sue's Kitchen is located at the space vacated by the former Ridgely & Ferrens, which shuttered its doors in October 2012 after nearly 80 years in business.
The restaurant, which relocated to Towson after operating for five years in Dundalk, will feature a country kitchen theme.
