Washington Post: Clinton More Popular Than O'Malley In Maryland
A poll released this weekend shows mixed results for the two-term Democratic governor who is widely believed to be a presidential candidate in 2016.

So says a Washington Post poll released over the weekend.
"And while O’Malley is widely touted by pundits as a potential 2016 presidential contender, the poll shows that Hillary Rodham Clinton is wildly more popular in his state," according to a March 2 Post story.

The poll found that the two-term Democrat maintains a 49-percent approval rating–a five point drop compared to a statewide poll released Jan. 23 by Annapolis-based Gonzales Research.
The poll raises questions about the future success of O'Malley's much-rumored 2016 presidential campaign.

The governor is widely considered to be interested in running for president in four years and recently created a federal campaign account called the "O Say Can You See Committee."
O'Malley has roughly a year left in his second and final term as Maryland governor.
