Business Owners Petition for Meter Changes in Anneslie
After a yoga studio's complaint, businesses petition for increased parking time in the 6700 block of York Road.

Thanks to changes approved by Baltimore County traffic engineers, yoga students in Anneslie won't have to switch positions from the downward-facing dog to the meter feeder.
Parking meters in the 6700 block of York Road, home to businesses including Yoga on York, Stoneleigh Lanes and Cat Hospital at Towson, will be switched from a one-hour maximum to two hours, Councilman David Marks said in an email.
Yoga on York staff had reached out to Marks' office with complaints that patrons had to interrupt classes to feed their meter. A majority of the businesses in the block then signed a petition to be sent to the Department of Public Works.
