Carrie Fisher Brings 'Shockaholic' to Towson Library
The actress held a brief reading and signing at the library on Thursday.

Star Wars jokes aside, actress Carrie Fisher, best known for her role as Princess Leia, was the guest of honor yesterday for a brief event there.
The 55-year-old actress read from her new book, Shockaholic, including a chapter about time spent hobnobbing (and more) with Washington politicians while filming the 1986 television movie Liberty in Baltimore.

Fisher then signed autographs for about 100 fans. The actress was in town in conjunction with her one-woman show, Wishful Drinking, which is running through Feb. 12 at the Hippodrome.
