County Plans Rodgers Forge Pedestrian Improvements

Baltimore County announced $10,000 in new measures aimed at making pedestrians safer along Stevenson Lane.

The county will build a pedestrian island, a pedestrian ramp, a sidewalk along the southern section of the road near Rodgers Forge Elementary as well as intersection improvements at Stevenson Lane and Stanmore Road, according to a news release from Councilman David Marks’ office.

"Not only does Rodgers Forge have many older residents who like to walk, but there are younger families who moved here because it is such a pedestrian-friendly community with excellent schools," Marks said in the news release.
