I-695 Crash Snarled Traffic Near York Road

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Traffic was snarled on Interstate 695 near Towson Friday afternoon after multiple vehicles crashed along the inner loop, officials said.

Three vehicles collided in the area of the exit to York Road south, transportation officials reported after 2 p.m.

The two left lanes and left shoulder as well as the right lane and right shoulder were closed on the inner loop after 2:30 p.m. Emergency personnel were at the scene, and traffic was getting by in the center lane.

By 3 p.m., the crash had cleared.
