Court papers list two girls as victims and say the offenses happened between August 2024 and February 2025.

Myers is accused of calling the first girl "fatherless," saying she was a "dumbass" for not knowing how to play soccer or football and telling her to get her "fat ass" up after she told him she was menstruating and didn't feel well.

The file also alleges that Myers grabbed her waist, gave her a prolonged hug, got an erection and squeezed her chest.

The girl additionally accused Myers of telling her she should wear dresses more often and that her legs looked good in shorts.

Charging documents say the student frequently skipped school to avoid Myers. She was absent for 19 days in just under six months.

The second girl reported that Myers would wink and whistle at her. She told investigators that Myers asked if she had a boyfriend, so she said yes out of fear, to which Myers replied, "Damn, he's lucky to stare at your ass all day."

The student further accused Myers of rubbing her shoulders and giving her at least two hugs where she could feel his erection.

Myers once said he would open the tennis area if she kissed him, the girl reported.

Both girls said Myers caused them to cry, and one said she had panic attacks.

Other statements Myers is accused of making to female students include "Nice figure, sweetheart," "Okay, good girl" and "Go ahead, baby."

Online court records show that Myers was arrested on May 30, released on his own recognizance on June 2 and indicted on additional charges on June 16.

Myers was initially charged with six offenses, but his indictment raised that to 22 counts. The indictment, which elevated the case from District Court to the higher Circuit Court, charged Myers with:

  • Five counts of sexually abusing a minor (felony)
  • Two counts of sex offense third-degree-helpless/impaired individual (felony)
  • Six counts of fourth-degree sex offense-sexual contact (misdemeanor)
  • Five counts of second-degree assault (misdemeanor)
  • Four counts of third-degree sex offense (felony)

Patch contacted Myers' attorney, Anton Iamele, for a comment. Iamele has not yet responded. Patch will update this story if he replies.

"These charges are deeply troubling," Deep Creek Middle Principal Laura Kelly said in a May letter to families. "BCPS holds its employees to a high standard of character and this alleged behavior is abhorrent and completely unacceptable."

Myers has been employed by BCPS since 1996. He has worked at Deep Creek Middle School since July 2024.

"I understand that students and staff who know Mr. Myers may have questions and concerns about this arrest and may need to speak with someone to process their feelings in a safe space," Kelly said. "Ensuring a safe learning environment for our students is our top priority."

Kelly said, "BCPS is fully cooperating with law enforcement on this matter."

"Mr. Myers has been on administrative leave since February 2025 when we first learned of the police investigation," Kelly said. "He has had no access to Deep Creek or any other BCPS school."
