Developers Break Ground on Luxury Apartments
The four-story building will be constructed at Dulaney Valley and Southerly roads.

Developers broke ground on the site of a new four-story building that will house 473 luxury apartments in Towson on Tuesday.
The Winthrop luxury apartments are being constructed at Dulaney Valley and Southerly Roads near Towson Town Center and will include a controlled-access parking garage, swimming pools and outdoor living rooms, according to a news release from Baltimore County.
"New residential communities are a driver for attracting new shopping and restaurants," County Executive Kamenetz said in the release. "Downtown Towson's new residents will quickly become new customers."

The county trumpeted the development as part of more than $770 million in offices, luxury apartments and restaurants being built in downtown Towson.
"We worked closely with the community to make this latest addition to downtown Towson compatible with the design and neighborhood feeling that makes this such a great place to live," Councilman David Marks, who represents the area, said in the release.
