Dog Dies In House Fire Near Glen Arm: Officials

GLEN ARM, MD — A dog perished in a house fire in Glen Arm Monday morning, officials said.

Crews were in the 12900 block of Kanes Road, off Manor Road, for a residential fire with flames in the basement, the Providence Volunteer Fire Company reported around 10 a.m.

A tanker strike team — usually called in communities that do not have fire hydrants — was at the scene, according to authorities.
