Today a letter was sent home with students regarding a single case of whooping cough that has been identified at Dumbarton Middle School.  The letter includes instructions about contacting your family doctor if you have any concerns.  We have no other information at this time other than what the letter explains and we are working closely with the Health Department should any additional information develop that needs to be shared.  If you have questions about whether or not your child has been vaccinated or should be vaccinated, please call your family doctor.  While Nurse Sisson is happy to answer questions, she still has to maintain her normal health care routines for our students and will have difficulty responding to mass numbers of phone calls.  Please remember that MSA testing starts on Monday morning so we will be trying to manage the many demands that MSA will bring.  Thanks and have a great weekend.
