From Baltimore County Police:
Girls and boys, ages 14 through 18, are invited to get a close-up look at police work in the Youth Leadership Academy. The program is designed to nurture the leadership skills in young people, while they have fun meeting other kids from the area.
This year’s academy takes place June 18-23 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The first day students will meet at the Baltimore County Police Training Academy located on the Dundalk campus of the Community College of Baltimore County, 7200 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk. There is no cost to the teens who will attend courses taught by actual Baltimore County police officers, and breakfast and lunch are provided free of charge.
