Former Baltimore County Pastor Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teen

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A former Baltimore County pastor is facing charges after authorities said he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl over the course of two years.

Walter Sevillano, 37, was arrested on multiple sex offense charges stemming from the abuse that occurred between 2023 and 2025, Baltimore County police said in a news release. During that time, he was a pastor at Iglesia Cristiana Sanidad Divina located in the 3000 block of Baybriar Road in Dundalk.

In charging documents obtained by WJZ, Sevillano was in charge of the victim's youth group and choir. Authorities said she was having problems at home and thought she could trust Sevillano.

According to WJZ, Sevillano drove the victim to and from church by himself, sent her explicit messages and eventually sexually assaulted her.

Police said the abuse took place multiple times a week in several locations, including at the church, inside a church van and in his own car.

Sevillano is currently being held at the Harford County Detention Center.
