Greater Baltimore Medical Center Undergoes Renovations

Additions include a new neurology suite and an expanded parking area.

Merritt Construction Services recently completed several renovations at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

The work included an additional interior build-out, an expanded parking area, a 3,4000-square-foot neurology suite and renovations to the hospital's Bluebell Park, according to a news release.

The neurology suite, which features five exam rooms, will enable GBMC to expand the department by 60 percent.

The renovations were completed to accommodate the increasing needs of Towson's aging population, the release states.

In January, Merritt had also constructed a 1,500-square-foot office on the first floor of the office and relocated the respiratory therapy area to an approximately 2,000-square-feet space on the fifth floor.
