GTCCA Shifts Committee Chairs

Former presidents shuffle committee posts, while another committee focuses on recruitment.

 

Two Greater Towson Council of Community Associations committees changed leaders, president David Kosak announced at the group's Thursday evening meeting.

Towson Manor Village resident Ed Kilcullen, a former GTCCA president, is stepping down from the council's government relations committee. Mike Ertel, a West Towson resident and former GTCCA president who currently chairs the university relations committee, will take his place.

Ertel said at the meeting that he intends to focus on the county's 2012 rezoning process and code enforcement, and work with the Towson police precinct's new commander,

Fay Citerone, of Knollwood-Donnybrook, will take Ertel's spot on the university relations committee, which works with and

"We have a very good relationship with Towson University right now and we're looking forward to getting to know the new president," Citerone said at the meeting.

The business relations committee, established last year, will focus more on member recruitment. Armagh Village resident Steve Cupit will continue to chair that committee, while Chatterleigh resident Laurie Taylor-Mitchell will stay at the helm of the school matters committee, president Kosak said.
