Harvest Day to be Held at Hampton National Historic Site

The Harvest Day event will feature tours, demonstrations, family fun, and more.

The National Park Service (NPS) and Historic Hampton, Inc. (HHI) will host Harvest Day at Hampton National Historic Site. The free event will be held Sunday, October 23 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Hampton National Historic Site. Mansion’s Farm Site is located at 535 Hampton Lane, Towson, MD 21286. Admission is free.

This educational, family-fun day on Hampton’s farm will include a tour of the plantation, living history portrayals, demonstrations, and performances of antebellum period music. Children can enjoy nineteenth century games such as sack racing, hoop and stick, egg walk with spoon, a corn shucking contest, Game of Graces and more. Ice cream and fresh pressed cider will be served while supplies last.
