5 Injured In I-695 Crash Near Dulaney Valley Road: Officials
Congestion last for about two hours after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 695 in Baltimore County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Multiple vehicles crashed on Interstate 695 Friday afternoon near Dulaney Valley Road, injuring several people, according to authorities.
Three vehicles collided on the inner loop past the exit for Dulaney Valley Road around 2 p.m., state transportation officials reported.
All lanes were closed at Dulaney Valley Road around 2:30 p.m., officials said.

Five people were evaluated by paramedics for injuries described as not life-threatening, according to the Providence Volunteer Fire Company.
"Properly installed car seats prevented serious injuries," fire officials said in a statement.

After 3:30 p.m., lane closures were still in effect. Two lanes were closed on the inner loop, and the left shoulder was closed on the outer loop, officials said.
Around 4 p.m., authorities reported all lanes had reopened. However, traffic remained congested in the area.
